About Martin Dorschler

After attending UWE in Bristol UK, I started my IT career in support for a UNIX based (BSDi) local ISP in the United States in the 90’s. I worked my way up to Technical Director via server administration, backend website design and support management, until 10 years later when I went to work for a Microsoft Gold partner as their Support Manager, and to help them set up as an Apple Reseller and Apple Repair storefront.

In 2011 I started pining for the fjords Blighty, and moved back to the UK where after a brief period contracting as a field engineer I found my new path as an Apple field engineer for Academia where I became a Jamf CCE then JCE and certified Integrator and am currently managing the Apple support, integrator and repairs teams.

Having always been coding in one form or another: BBC BASIC, Modula2, Pascal, COBOL, PHP, Bash. I went on some courses to learn Objective C and then later Swift.
Now I feel ready to move forward with apps in the Apple world. It only made sense for my first app to have tight Jamf integration and pull from my experience in the edu sector.

Now while also attending a Kodeco Bootcamp in early 2023, I hope to be adding significantly to my portfolio. Watch this space for upcoming apps!
